Many councils (including Nottingham City) have introduced the requirement for a 10% reduction in emissions from renewable energy on all new sizeable developments. We were commissioned to prepare an Energy Statement for inclusion as part of the planning application. The energy statement described the technical, economic, environmental and practical issues regarding all relevant energy efficiency and renewable energy options for the development.
